SEUK welcomes the opportunity to respond to NESO’s online consultation on Future Energy Scenarios. Our response sets out a series of recommendations on whole system and gas supply, modelling and data, electricity supply and energy demand.
We feel that solar deployment has often been underrepresented within the Future Energy Scenarios, there is a need for a more ambitious and accurate representation of solar’s potential. We have identified the areas of greatest concern in our response.
