The Solar Careers Hub will be held on Wednesday 25 February at the University of Strathclyde, Technology & Innovation Centre.

Packed full of live demonstrations, it will be Scotland’s most interactive careers fair.

The event will host a series of talks by experts in the solar energy and battery energy storage sectors and includes Hiring Rooms where attendees meet businesses in the solar sector and discuss live job opportunities.

☀️Fedcap / The Verdancy Group

Registered charity Fedcap expanded into the education and learning sector last year, with the opening of its first Apex Clean Energy Training Centre in the UK, in Hampshire. The centre’s first group of graduates in solar panel installation are now finding work in the sector.  

The Verdancy Group, a leading Scottish provider of green skills training programmes, joined with it last summer, offering courses in renewable technologies, environmental impact assessments, energy efficiency and building retrofits.

While we’re not actively recruiting for all roles, our focus is on inspiring future talent and building long-term connections.
